.: Our Facility
Our facility houses Seabirds, Water Birds, Native Birds and Other Aquatic Birds.
We have an Intensive Care Unit for critical patients which is staffed 24/7.
Once the patients are stable they are moved to our Pre-Release Area and from there they are released back into their natural habitat.
Pelican Paradise is a fully enclosed spring fed dam that houses Pelicans that are in permanent care due to injuries sustained on our waterways.
We not only care for the injured birds, we attend to rescues up and down the Qld Coastline and provide a drop off point for the members of the public that have found an injured animal.

You will receive a tour of our Intensive Care Unit, Pelican Paradise and Pre-Release, guided by Bridgette and Paula Powers who will be talking to you about the birds that are in care.
All we ask is that you place a donation in our donation tube, all donations will assist with the daily running of our facility in providing food products, medications, medical supplies and equipment.
